Methodist Church

Built and dedicated in 1901. The Church building featured Gothic lines with ornamented coloured glass windows, spire buttresses some which has since been dismantled Services were held district-wide from 1850’s. Pre 1940’s the vestry was used for the overflow of students from the adjacent school. This church has served the Mahurangi Parish for more than 170 years.
